QIF Standards Meeting June 12-14, 2012

The next meeting of the Dimensional Metrology Standards Consortium (DMSC), Inc. Quality Information Framework (QIF) Working Group, which will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hilton Head Island Beach Resort, 130 Shipyard Drive, Hilton Head Island, SC  29928, on June 12-14, 2012.

Purpose of the Meeting:

  1. Fine tune the design of QIF: clarify its overall scope and workflow, and especially define the scope and requirements of the recently defined application areas (QMStatistics, QMRules, QMResources). Some data modeling will be done for QMPlans. Formal WG meetings will be QIF, QMPlans, QMResources, QCDirectives. The QMResults WG will give a status report only.
  2. Review current status of outreach and generate a prioritized list of outreach strategy tasks  (e.g., IMTS 2012 and pilot projects). Outreach goals include disseminating information and gaining implementation credibility.
